Specific suppliers, product lines and performance specifications are confirmed through actual samples and availability.
Alcantara.
Our documented white-and-pink sports-car project combines leather with Alcantara. Its suede-like appearance provides a different contrast from a smooth hide. The right location and care requirements should be discussed for your vehicle rather than assumed from appearance alone.
Colour belongs in context.
A swatch looks different under workshop light, daylight and a dark cabin. Compare physical samples against retained trim before approving a combination. The on-screen palette is a design aid, not an exact colour specification.
Marine use deserves its own choice.
Sun, moisture, ventilation and whether the area is enclosed matter when selecting boat upholstery. We confirm the material for the actual location. Automotive leather is not presented as a universal substitute for marine materials.
Make the material sample part of the decision
Place candidate materials next to the original trim and compare both texture and color. Smooth leather, a suede-like surface and a pronounced grain reflect light differently. Consider the panel size: a small swatch does not show how a full seat or yacht sofa will read. Ask about the exact product, available colors, intended use and care instructions. A coordinated specification records the chosen material, thread and placement rather than relying on a photograph alone.
