Broad seating surfaces reveal the character of the leather and the precision of the seam. Cognac, ivory, deep navy and black each interact differently with wood, metal and carpet. Choose the surfaces that should carry the main color and those that should remain quiet. A rear cabin deserves the same consideration as the front seats, particularly when it is the space used most often.

An isolated worn armrest and a complete cabin require different work. Identify polished leather, cracking, damaged seams or a finish you simply want to change. A close-up shows the surface; a wider view shows how that panel connects with its neighbors. Matching new leather to an aged interior needs assessment of grain, color and finish, rather than an assumption of an exact match.

Tell us the model, year and configuration, including rear seating and fitted equipment. Photograph the center console, door furniture and any personalized details you want to retain. Piping width, the direction of a seam and the contrast between center panels and bolsters affect the entire cabin. A quilted layout may suit one project while smooth leather is more appropriate for another. Compare real samples and discuss placement before committing to a decorative treatment. The design should relate to the original architecture and the way you use the vehicle.
